LOCATION: Central Valley, CA

The Company is a large, independent, grower/packer/shipper of citrus with 8,000 acres of citrus and two packing houses. The company only packs and markets its own citrus. We are currently seeking a Sales Manager.
Job Summary: Sales Manager is responsible for promoting and selling products produced, establish, maintain, and improve customer relations. This position reports to the Vice-President Sales.

Essential Job Responsibilities/Duties:

*Includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.

· Domestic sales of citrus.

· Provide excellent customer service and fulfill commitments.

· Pricing and order processing.

· Transportation.

· Problem resolution.

· Access, update, and maintain customer data base for individual accounts.

· Maintain appropriate and necessary communication with other Sales Managers and Vice-President Sales.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

· Must have prior produce sales experience, a minimum of 8 to 10 years in Citrus or Tree Fruit, preferably Citrus.

· F.O.B Sales.

· Have an established customer base.

· Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

· Must have ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.

· Good working knowledge of Windows, Word, and Excel. Famous experience a plus.

· Ability to travel to visit with existing customer base and acquire new accounts.

· Packing house/transportation coordination experience preferred.

Qualifications:

· Minimum of a BS in an appropriate field of study.

· Five plus years of managerial experience.

· Strong interpersonal skills & the ability to communicate & deal effectively with the public and other employees.

· Creative & team oriented.
